Literature Text

A mistake, a trap, you never forget
The strings of lies, the webs of regret,
Woven together in a blanket of shame.
You wish nobody could remember your name...
This is much shorter than most of my poems, but I think it's perfect the way it is. Based off my more recent experiences. I hope I can find those who understand.

With our failures we bring knowledge, and we may share our knowledge with those without it so they need not repeat our mistakes. But all is useless if you care not to learn from both yourself and others. Listen to others, and listen to yourself. You never know better than another person, you can only know differently; and we are always, always, wrong. It takes only one time to eat the poison food for you to die.

That being said, I'm not here to comfort your shame, but when someone throws you a life line, do not ignore it and think you know better, for if you do you might fall and never retrieve yourself.

I am no different from you, I am too lost in a trap of lies, and I have had to waive my own life line, for at the time none know of my grief, and tie it to my wrist. Had I not have tied it, I would surely have fallen, for sometimes I think it is far better to fall, than to cling to something I barely know is true. For is this life line just another lie?

If you think the lines you are thrown are just more lies, then create your own, using no emotion, for emotion is fragile and logic is strong; create something you can cling to, and you know is right. But should you do so, you will go through true hell. I am just one more person, throwing you a line, please take it, we do not want you to either fall, or see the true hell of life.
